Use Of Site – Basics

A few things for users:

Videos: Nothing special is needed to watch the videos in your browser. If you’re using Firefox it will remind you to install missing Flash plugins if you don’t already have them installed. If you’re an Internet Explorer and see blanks spaces below the post title, you need to install a free flash player from Adobe

Browser: Firefox is probably a good choice. Some users have mentioned a problem with Safari occasionally.

General Use:
No live streaming links will be provided here. So please stop peppering the comments section with live links to cricket matches.

Everyone has personal opinions, prejudices and their favourite hates. But considering this is a cricket site and not a roadside bench (though some may say it looks like one) – no vicious racist, political, religious comments are allowed. Also please desist from fighting with each other here – eg: A says so and so team/player sucks. B says A’s lil brother is really small. A replies that B’s mom didn’t think so. And so on. If a user’s comment about a team or player pisses you off – a very likely possibility – please stick to retorting while raising a cricketing issue. Just references to the user’s alleged carnal orientation or apparent deformities, hilariously written as they may be, will not be approved in the comments section.

If you’ve got a site of your own, please understand that this is not Digg. Though one can understand your enthusiasm in promoting your site, kindly limit your promotion to sites exclusively meant for promotion like Digg. And to those other highlights sites that come here looking for highlights, wait for 1 part to be posted here and then leave a comment like – “Why wait till XX:XX GMT for the rest. Full highlights are available at XXXXX.com” – take a look in your mental mirror.
