These H/Ls were delayed cos after Tendulkar’s 163 yesterday, felt the need to step out of my musty shack for some air. The sun and oxygen knocked me flat and I just woke a while back. Anyway better late than never, right.
Hughes was it again – ducking out of the short ball but smashing everything else around in phases. Cos he got into run-drought phases and then would suddenly pull out those heaving drives that are so visually pleasing. Ponting played another super knock and also crossed Steve Waugh (test runs) in the process. For SA it was a hard day with their 1st innings ending within three balls of the start of day’s play.
