Australia vs South Africa 3rd Test Highlights Day 4

Upto Tea

Post Tea

Watch cricket highlights of Day 4 – Australia vs South Africa 3rd Cape Town Test.

Scoreline: SA won by an innings and 20 runs. Australia 2nd innings 422 all out. Mitchell Johnson 123, McDonald 68, Michael Clarke 47. Paul Harris 6 wickets

The post-tea session will only be available tomorrow due to telecast conflicts with the Eng-WI 2nd ODI

A big win for SA on Day 4 but super batting by Mitchell Johnson. McDonald too finally displayed some batting abilities. Earlier, Mike Hussey 39 (153) and Simon Katich 54 (159), while apparently playing for a draw didn’t really achieve too much – as this wasn’t the 5th day, eating up time wasn’t really a priority, and by the time they were out, the scoreboard had also gone to sleep. Clarke played pretty well, looking to score while also hang around. The late lower order couldn’t force SA to bat again and some consolation for SA in a series already lost.

Wonderful stuff by SA. I am liking Harris and his spin!

wow harris is pretty intense guy for a spinner, cant wait to see the rest, thanks buddy

  3. Hey, U guys at Cricket Online TV r doin a gr8 job well done and keep it up. Its been a pleasure, really is.

  4. Mob – big call on Harris. I think Slow Bowler is more in keeping with his style of bowling as spin is not usually an outcome thereof.

    Thanks again for the highlights…

  5. Now talking about Cricket. That was an awesome match with SA showing that they too can rightly fight for the number 1 position after their dismal performances in the other 2 tests

  6. where is sa vs aus highlights end part???

  7. where is highlights after tea??? plz upload if possible..

  8. What a match infact, Australians should have lost atleast by 200 runs but Mitchel made the difference, keep it up SA

So how is it that Australia’s “batsmen” (Ponting et al) all look like crap in both innings — all tentative, unaggressive and weak — while Johnson and McDonald come in and hit the bowling all over for 123* and 68 respectively?

The Oz batting was also just about as inconsistent during the Saffie tour of Australia.

As an Australian I can’t figure it out but offer full congrats to SA for winning by an innings-plus.

Aussies won this series but I think a lot of questions remain.

  10. Congrats SA for the win and congrats Oz for the series.

That’s 1 for the books ey? SA win in Oz, but Oz win in SA? Who’s the better team? Replay! :)

Well done Harris, Johnson and McDonald. Macca got some runs at last and at least showed what he’s capable of. I’m glad Johnson got the ton – he came so close a couple games back and deserved it.
