Watch highlights – Australia vs West Indies – from the 2009 Champions Trophy played on September 26, 2009.
Scoreline: Australia 275/8 Ricky Ponting 79, Mitchell Johnson 73 (47) – Nikita Miller 10-1-24-2
WI 225 all out – Andre Fletcher 54, Travis Dowlin 55
Did see the Aus batting live, and on a difficult wicket, Ponting put on an exhibition of the different level he sometimes operates on relative to his teammates. Apart from Johnson of course. From what could be gleaned while making the highlights, WI appear to have been clued in on the chase big time – so that’s now 2 games in which they’ve got into winning positions for extended periods. Not sure how much this has affected the bargaining power of the WI Board.

Thought Windies were a bit unlucky, cause Johnson appeared to be out very early on – but he batted v. well. Ponting too – but he usually does!
Windies bowling attack looks pretty sharp – are they on the rebound? Would be good for world cricket – some of that Windies flair.
