Watch cricket highlights – Chennai Super Kings vs Delhi Daredevils from IPL 2009.

Scoreline: 189/5 – AB de Villiers 105 (54), Tliekaratne Dilshan 50 (27) – Laxmipathy Balaji 4-19-3
Chennai: 180/9 – Matthew Hayden 57 (27), Suresh Raina 41 (27)

de Villiers showed the IPL audience today why crowds in SA chant AB every time he walks out. Some of the best ever yorker-length boundary hitting on display. While AB was IT today, Dilshan’s knock was as important – because it damp-squibbed any Chennai joy after the quick exit of Sehwag-Gambhir.

Delhi appeared to have messed up with their bowling as long as Hayden was going, but the final 10 overs was pretty much about Chennai hara-kiring their run-chase, with Albie Morkel having a rare bad outing with the bat.

Pregame: Enough mini-contests within this game to keep it a much anticipated game – Vettori vs Dhoni, Morkel if he comes up against McGrath and so on
