C’mon Guptill. You have 1 more test. Brendon and Taylor have already made their points several times recently. It’s a weird cricketing world – you do well against the Aussies and everyone will give you the credit you deserve.

If Hughes improves his allround game the way Warner has over the last year, wonder if the day will ever come for a Hughes-Warner test opening salvo with Watson at 6 and Katich given a huge medal to wear around a beaming smile while watching Aus play test cricket 2012 onwards.
