Even Lady Luck appeared seduced by Dilshan-Gambhir. There were times last season when Bangalore, not necessarily through their fielding mishaps, looked forlorn like this.
The only good thing for KKR apart from van Wyk’s consistency (man, those eyes) was some semblance of a return to form for McCullum. Henriques was sent up the order ahead of Ganguly and while he eventually scored 30, it won’t be surprising if the truth behind Saha coming out to bat after the dismissal of Wyk in the final over was that Sourav told Buchanan – to hell with you. Or maybe it was just about sending someone with quick feet to rotate the strike back to the set Henriques.
Given their current situation, Kolkata might just ditch Buchanan’s Art of War nonsense and have some fun in future games. In the process ruining a couple of semifinal hopefuls. Comeon Brendon Ganguly.
Preplay: This is the first encounter between the two sides this season.

win or loose doesn’t matter to KKR. Money is what matters ti Shar Rukh Khan and he is making money anyway. I never watch KKR matches. I love to watch Rajasthan Royals because they are the most hard working team and unpredictable in the competition. rajasthan Royals found a good young player by the name Naman Ojha. Will be very interestign how he goes from now. They have ever reliable Smith and Jadeja and the most dangerous Pathan. When it comes to bowling they have the magician who doesn’t need any introduction. But to be very honest, chennai super kings are still the favorite to win the IPL 2009. I see the finals between Chennai super kings and Delhi dare devils. Return of Sehwag will be very crucial for delhi Daredevils. David Warner might come one down and Vettori might have to sit for the entire IPL.

I think Brendon must have had a taste of “politics” at the hands of “KKRz”…Not that Ganguly meant it.personally i guess.. but there must be major clashes going on between John Buchanan and Saurav…next year who will be the last man standing (KKR, Saurav,John Buchanan)..
