Watch cricket highlights: England vs Australia 2nd Test Day 5 from Lord’s played on July 20, 2009.
Scoreline: Australia 406 all out – Mitchell Johnson 63 | Andrew Flintoff 5 wickets, Swann 4
How good was Flintoff today? Well, James Anderson bowled a super 1st over of the day, but after that, the day’s play was all about you taking your loo break or the quick run to the shop outside for your ciggies or whatever, when the rest were bowling. Swann took out Clarke, but Flintoff was the one right from the start who looked relaxed, assured that England should win the game and seriously the only threat. That Australia didn’t fold up early was only cos Johnson played a super knock matched later on by his captain in the post-match thing. If you’ve been watching the Ashes live or the highlights here, you’d have seen Ponting repeatedly picked on by large sections of the crowd. Credit to him for staying pretty cool.
And CJE, thanks for the stuff about the h/ls. But also thanks for bringing up the music (3 days and that thing is still going on. Man.). It had completely slipped my mind until you mentioned it.
I’m off for a week. So the Pak-SL and WI-Bangladesh won’t be on in the meantime. Back with the Ashes and the rest of these series after that.

First of all, thanks a lot for the prompt update of the videos. I was so pleased to seee the result. OZ media was all over the umpiring mistakes but I think they got the taste of their own medicine. I still remember the blunders sone by umpires when India was touring Ozland. I am waiting to see all the victory ride and Flintoff send-off.

Whats with Andrew Jerkoff? Acts like he has done some great thing. Taking 5 wickets in one innings in not such a big accomplishment. England’s win was a team effort and not just Jerkoff.

Flintoff’s off cutters were pretty special – great bowling.
Thought Mitchell Johnson batted very well – had a tough time early against Flintoff, but stuck through it.

hey bro!! could u put some mercus trescothick videos cuz i just started playing cricket for houston india after 4years even though iam da top scorer of the houston india team.and i just play like mercus trescothick but i dont know i think iam missing something in my batting.the reason why iam sayin this coz in my life i never been caught in da slips area for 4 times.of the first ball.{the reason why iam sayin this cuz if i wanna make it to the usa team then i have got to make atleast 1500 runs.(as i told u iam the top scorer of the leagues 10 innigs 509 runs 3/100 and 1/fifties}so plz help me and i just got two more years to make it to the usa team and iam 21 years old so please put some trescothick videos even if is five or seven mins videos.i just wanna see his batting.
