Watch cricket highlights: England vs Australia 3rd Test, Day 4 from Edgbaston played on August 2, 2009.
Scoreline: Eng 376 all out (1st Inn) Andrew Flintoff 74, Matt Prior 41, Stuart Broad 55
Australia (2nd Inn) 88/2
The best part of being a neutral viewer is days like this, when players you like from either side play well. Flintoff and Johnson.
Mitchell Johnson’s eventual figures might read 2/92, but there’s enough on show today for Lee-Johnson in the next test to be a dribbling-rivers prospect. Johnson went for runs today mainly cos England batted super and aggressively – but for the first time this series, he looked fearsome at times.
Flintoff meanwhile seems intent on switching facets each test. A super counter-attacking knock with Prior that deserved a better end than that.
Loads of mock and semi-encounters today paving the way for more drama on Day 5 tomorrow.
LOL at hilfy slip and music dubbing… keep it coming man!!
Are there more highlights of the day coming?
LOL ditto! good day of cricket, we’re set to win!!
cheers for posts!
yess…more iron maiden : )
I’ve noticed that you add sounds of your own in some of your other videos as well. I know you can do what you want but you should know that not everybody appreciates it. It’s not nice.
Btw, I’ve written other good comments to some of your earlier posts, so its not like I only write when something’s bad.
thanx
Thanks once again for the clips – cracking game this!
Loved to hear Warnie losing his cool over the Bell LBW shout from Siddle that was going over…Too bad mate – you can’t have your cake and eat it
Ponting just can’t play spin bowling. Swann made him look really silly today. Sorry Ponting is not in Lara and Tendulkar category.
lol u know wat …i didnt take kindly to your lack of grace when it comes to responding to criticism …so sorry mate ur website is on notice .. u will know wat i m talking about soon ..good luck till then
Hey, why do you spoil the nice video with stupid mimickry right at the start of first video.
and yeah ur guess is right. I do work for one of the sports networks ..
Hey Gary – Grow a beard and hit the road – Admin
hey Ska, not be rude.. but … its a free world, admin can do as he pleases. i dont see why its not nice, a little bit of humour is much needed. there is a volume tab that you can hit ..frankly the music a lot better than the biased pommy commentators…specially when its maiden.
We all appreciate the effort and time you put into these clips, but seriously mate, what’s with the music and the sound effects, it really is annoying, and doesn’t add any value to the clip whatsoever. Anyways I thought you weren’t gonna keep this up after the Freddie episode.
Thx Admin – loving the 3 segments! @ 08:36 in part III there’s a problem – goes back to start. If you’ve time and energy, can you fix please? Thanks – appreciate your efforts.
England middle and lower order did well to fight back and post a good lead – congrats. Prior is a pretty sweet driver of the ball. Broad batted very well and also responsibly for a tail ender. And Flintoff is probably just the best all-rounder in the world.
Was really glad to see Johnson and Siddle rough up Flintoff – he deserves it and he looked pretty uncomfortable at times. To his credit he regained his composure and batted very well (high scorer!)- but still I think an important message to let Flintoff know it’s coming back if he dishes it out – and he loves to do that. Seems Australian bowlers are starting to get it together a bit more, which is good for the series. Poor old Watson got smashed lol, but he’s in the side for his batting, so when he gets his bowling together it’s just a bonus. I’ve seen him bowl very well before.
I think it’s good Johnson is getting angry – maybe will help get him back in the series a bit?
Looking forward to last day – but think a draw is pretty much inevitable unless Australia lose the plot.
Given we don’t pay for these highlights I think the creator of these videos can do whatever he/she likes! Yeah some people won’t appreciate the extra sounds – tough!!!
ok works now – maybe just my browser error loading the first time?
Could be or just a fluctuating issue with the video host. Firefox tends to work fine. So perhaps you could try that. – Admin
revenge of teh cheasy dubbingz
athers may be a better commentator than he ever was as a cricket player, completely refutted warne’s comments.
I’m from Oz but I cringe every time Warnie opens his mug, coming across the yobbo. His rant on the ump was slightly nauseating.
To admin: It is only because of your hard work and kindness that many of us out-of-country fans get to see this footage at all. I hope you ignore the whiners since the large majority of people watching are very appreciative, I’m sure. So keep it up, please, even with a funny dub here and there.
Ponting goes cheaply again, looking like a novice against spin. Where’s the footwork?
The exciting thing with cricket: you just cannot predict what the next day of play will bring but the poms are outplaying Oz again, it seems. Great effort by Flintoff with the willow.
Thanx!
there seems to a problem with End v Aus 3rd Test Day 4 highlights on the second video. It cuts out after the first minute.
@Ricky: Just refresh after a few minutes and try again
Hey admin … please ignore these ingrates comlpainin’ about the music, sounds etc… they can find a different site if it bothers them so much … Keep it up dude!
i am a retard. I apologize for making the earlier comments.
keep up the good work mate..really enjoying ur extra effects…btw which country are u from?/ who do u support?
Thanks Puma, you are a gloriously beautiful rare animal to like them indulgent effects.
I’m Indian. Like certain players rather than the teams, except when Tendulkar, Yuvraj, Laxman play well – then I want India to win at all costs so their knocks don’t go in vain. – Admin
You are a legend in my own domain due to your diligence and postingness of the highlights which i cannot watch due to my geographical location in North America
