(Gibbs – disappointingly dropped from the T20/ODI squad) SA lose on D/L by 1 run: Loots Bosman 58 (31), Graeme Smith 41 (23)
Not the rain again. From all accounts given on air, it appears that the rain did ease a bit in the eventual final over that was bowled, but given the number of times SA have gotten into situations like this, you’d think staying a few runs ahead of D/L would make sense (like they did in the previous over). A pity that the super start by Bosman and Smith was wasted.
But before all that came the hurling wrists of Eoin Morgan playing shots that make you wonder if anyone else in international cricket could do the same. Captain Collingwood sizzled like he sometimes does in limited over cricket just so that you never think you have life figured out, while SA-born/raised Trott got an indifferent Jonathanwho? sort of response from the crowds, which was probably the only win-win way to go about a situation like that.
So grateful yet again. I don’t understand how you can do this legally but I don’t see how promoting the excitement of sport for free can be a bad thing. It gets me buying tickets and wanting to be involved and it gets my boys out in the garden playing for real, rather than sitting in front of a screen. Perfect solution. You are doing a great service.

I am Englands Fan but i am upset for S Africa. They well deserve to play 20 overs but finaly RAIN !!! and we miss out a great game. Its ok S Africa its cricket at the end of the day.
