England vs West Indies 3rd Antigua Test Highlights Day 3

Part I

Part II

Cricket Highlights: Day 3 highlights – England vs West Indies – 3rd Antigua Test.

Scoreline: WI: 285 all out. Ramnaresh Sarwan 94, Devon Smith 38. Graeme Swann gets a 5 wicket haul. England 31/1. Overall lead 312.

Ramnaresh Sarwan’s knock of 94 stood stark against some of his teammates cos there was hardly any streaky nature to his runs. The best part was that on a difficult pitch, he got them at a fair pace and didn’t get stuck as he sometimes can. Swann, given the situation England were in at the time, had looked pretty decent during the recent series vs India and was the prime wrecker today.

With no referrals available this test, there were a few close calls but eventually, with WI bowled out, England had the option of making them follow on. A pitch that now looks difficult and the indisposition of Harmison (generally under the weather) and Flintoff (some carried-injury) apparently had Strauss going out to bat. And so that’s it – England’s best chance to get back in the series awaits them on Day 4.

Did I just endure total British ambarassment? I was under the impression that Britain was the origin of the game.
