I guess you can just say that MS Dhoni is (apart from a very good captain) a lucky guy. Apart from the IPL semis vs Bangalore, every single time (in the last couple of years) that he’s messed up with his batting, a teammate has come along and played a brilliant knock to cover up his effort. If you didn’t watch the game live, you’d look at Dhoni who came in at No 3 ahead of Yuvraj and Raina and think – 26 off 21 – that’s pretty cool. But the reality was his entry sent the Indian innings into a trickle and even Gambhir (an excellent player against spin) seemed unable to get it up with the slower bowlers around. For his own sake, cos he’s the best captain by a fair distance in the current team, Dhoni needs to accept certain realities about his own batting relative to Yuvraj and Raina (on form) and come in at his regular spot – No 5 or 6 (when Sehwag returns).
The Bangladesh response at the top was expectedly entertaining – unfortunately (from a personal viewpoint) Ashraful wasn’t in the midst of that, but another very controlled performance by India while defending. Ojha continued his IPL magic, while Ishanth looks like this might just be his tournament.
The bored screw-you looks on Rohit Sharma and Yuvraj Singh’s must rank among the best visual spectacles in contemporary cricket. And they were on big time today.

If he bats at 5/6, we could have gotten more than 200.
Again wonderful performance from Yuvraj. Ohja bowled well. Dhoni must change his batting style in T20 else can go for rest.
Well, looks like Bangladesh and Pakistan fans dont shut the hell up even after they lose the game horribly. Pakistan got thrashed in the warm-ups and Bangladesh just got thrashed as well. guyz i am an indian but watchin the highlights i saw that bangladesh played good they were smashing zhaeer and pathan early but failed with the spinners , even in the end the were beating the hack out of Ishant sharma, its juz that their bowling was weak so they lost.
