Two sessions to either side. Vettori strangely took charge of the run-scoring while Ryder displayed yet another aspect to his ever-increasing girth reputation. The Indian field settings were set more to Ryder’s recent ODI blitzkrieg than the existing situation. But a super knock by the both batsmen. Ryder eventually pulled out his innate game when on 99 with an unconvincing Chris Martin at the other end – he clouted Ishanth Sharma for a six to get to his debut hundred.
Sehwag hammered out 5 boundaries during the short Indian outing and that was that on Day 1.

hey its “New Zealand VS India”, nz comes first as NZ is the host – not “India VS New Zealand”, and john the site wud get sued if they played live action……. companys pay millions for the rights….

India lost momentum after they captured 6 early wickets. Can India make that up with their batting performance, will have to wait and watch, Sehwag has started with a blaze again…. will the gr8 trio of Sachin, Rahul and Very very special laxman come to party… if they do India win this one.. two big partnerships are required of 100 plus from the Indians here. n we are right der to win this 1.
