Watch cricket highlights of the 3rd ODI – India vs New Zealand played at Christchurch on March 8, 2009.
Scoreline: India 392/4. Sachin Tendulkar 163 (130) retd hurt, Yuvraj Singh 87 (60), MS Dhoni 68 (58). NZ 334 – Jesse Ryder 105 (80), McCullum 71, Kyle Mills 54 (32), Southee 32 (20)
Pregame expected Yuvraj to strut his stuff alongside Sachin or Sehwag. For a while that was the case, but overall – one man – Sachin f***in Tendulkar. Take your chappal to the next piece of crap who talks about Sachin’s place in this young team. I’ve aimed mine at Charu Sharma for starters.
A big chance missed for Tendulkar to get the first 200 in ODI cricket. Unfortunately cramping out of the game.
For people unfamiliar (like me) with Jesse Ryder, an amazing introduction. McCullum was super as always while Kyle Mills and Southee took apart Munaf and the rest while almost pulling off the incredible.
Pre-game: A 5 game series, the rained out match has pushed the importance of this game for NZ with India leading 1-0. Tendulkar had a good one last game. I’m thinking maybe Yuvraj Singh might strut his stuff tomorrow. In the company of Sachin/ Sehwag – perfect. A Ross Taylor/McCullum knock wouldn’t be bad either.

for us NRI;s who live in other countries where its not possible to watch the match, these highlights are lifesavers
sorry but this sapo.pt as the host is getting tedious. it buffers a dozen times in a min and seems to have an uncanny knack to do it midshot. time to find a different host.
As explained several times before – when a surge of people watching a video happens, it will play slower.
