India 443 (1st Inn) in 79 overs – Virender Sehwag 284 no (239), Murali Vijay 87 (121), Rahul Dravid 62 no
Waaannn, India are playing at home. Waaaannh, flat wickets. I’m just wondering about the excuses some will probably come up with to pull down scoring 443 runs in less than a day.
It’s really sad that Murali at this stage of his career had to come up against the Indian batsmen and the man-like-no-one-else, because it would be really unfair to pull down the curtains on a great based on this series.
Gambhir was off for his sister’s wedding and so Murali Vijay got another game. The last time he played a test (his debut) was when Gambhir was banned for his elbow to Watson. And like in that debut game vs Aus, his clean hitting and classy shots today received many an approving pat from the man whose name shall henceforth only be let out in reverential whispers (preferably from under a cowering bed).

I am not able to hear any commentary.
