  1. John says:

It’s really Johnson’s fault that the whole incident took shape the way it did.
As a bowler, he should have got out of Styris’ running path.

  2. agi says:

Aussies always got something going on dont they

  3. r3ubs says:

johnsons like a little kid… he needs to grow up

  4. Rayne says:

All in all, all this things add spice to the cricket , so thanks to mitchell, thanks to scott..

  5. Roger says:

and then Gambhir was banned for something similar, while Styris was let away! double standards on display here!

  6. sam says:

as much as people dont like the whole argy bargy, antagonists and protagonists make the game a lot more exciting.. especially in places like NZ where cricket isnt the number 1 sport. good fun for the media too.

  7. Rana says:

It,s part of Game but if you see Johnson got the benifits that all NZ Batsman wanted to put him down but they lost aginst him in my point of view( second day) but it was lovely to watch…and no one can blame alway south asian that they are Extrem to cricket …. it can happen with anyone hmmm?

  8. australia says:

    thnx for the upload videos

i say srry to newzland team instead of Australia _________

  9. Damian says:

    @John
It’s a case of “six of one, half a dozen the other”
Johnson was within his rights to stand where he was, when styris ran by knocking his elbow.
Yes, Johnson could have moved out of the way, however, Styris could just have easily run marginally wider and avoided Johnson.

There again, these NZ-Aus matches always go this way – no-one’s prepared to give an inch either way, confrontations will always happen.. besides they’re what make them so much fun to watch.

  10. Brahma says:

It’s the Aussies habit it bring me back to the incident which that same player was involved in with Benn of the west indies.

  11. karachikhatmal says:

great compilation – lovely to see a fast man having the guts to still be aggro in the face of heavy bats and small boundaries

  12. vivek yadav says:

    mr. admin@
grt job man,for showin this video it reflects australian nz rivalary off the field!!!!!!!!!

  13. CricFAN says:

I am not sure how johnson let go with such mild punishment. Distrimination is very visible here.

  14. spark says:

@John – Disagree, bowler has as much of a right to stand there, walk back to his mark in a straight line, or do whatever he damn well pleases so long as he doesn’t deliberately obstruct the batsman.

Not smart to give the batsman an earful at the end of your spell though, as in that case the batsman has the last laugh.

  15. Lakshman says:

    thanx a lot 4 da video admin.. i was searching evrywhr 4 dis video..then i remembered cricket-online.tv site..thought u might hav uploaded it..n to my luck found it..thanx 4 da gr8 work u r doin..keepin goin..

  16. gayan says:

    well done styris

  17. Jr Waugh says:

Man up girls!!! All I hear is crying…. As Arnold would say “you are all girly men”

Styrus wanted that confrontation, he hit the ball for 4, there wasnt even a need to run the 2nd…. He knew Johnson would fire up so he ran into him. Johnson has every right to stand where he did, and styrus could have avoided everything.

Who cares really… as long as there some fire in the belly… They probably were told to do it pre match as the crowds are diminishing LOL

And good on Johnson for taking 4 in the next innings..

Lets hope this continues thoughout the series, otherwise no one will go to the games.

good luck kiwis… good luck Aus

  18. Mitchell Johnson says:

I am a bad butt. I keep butting the aussie way.

  19. Gary says:

Admin, do you have the Tendulkar 11′ vs Ganguly 11′ 20-20 cricket match held on 6th March 2010?

  20. admin says:

Gary: No. I caught a bit of it but didn’t go ahead because it turned out to be a lighthearted game – catches being deliberately dropped etc

  21. Robin says:

Love what you do, living in Florida this gives me the only opportunity to see international cricket. As to the incident, no big deal except for the press. Thanks once again for your coverage.

  22. cakehammer says:

the incident is a storm in a teacup

  23. yam says:

Styris obviously caused it by running into him, why do people blame Johnson?

Everyone who has a huge cry about “boo hoo aussies are such bad sports, always causing trouble waa waaaa waaa” need to take the skirt off and grow a moustache. Those people just try to take anything they can away from Australia when they can’t beat them.

  24. Gary says:

@Admin: Ok, no worries. Can you post the match scores if you know them. I cant find them anywhere on the internet. Though Tendulkar was given a weaker team than Ganguly, I would like to know the result.

  25. admin says:

@Gary: couldn’t find the scores too – i think sachin xi won – dhoni who was on his team scored around 90

  26. Gary says:

@Admin: Thanks for the info. Good to know GOD won. Cant wait for the IPL 20-20′s.

  27. danish says:

    jhakaas

  28. LALIT MODI says:

IT WASN’T GOOD TO SEE HAPPENING IN CRICKET.. IF I WOULD BE A COMISSIONER OF ICC, I COULD EASILY BANNED JOHNSON.. FOR BEHAVING BADD..
