Watch cricket highlights – Mumbai Indians vs Delhi Daredevils Highlights – the 2nd Leg from IPL 2009

Scoreline: Mumbai 165/8 – Sachin Tendulkar 46, Ajinkya Rahane 56
Delhi get there in 17.3 – Virender Sehwag 50, Gautham Gambhir 47 – Harbhajan Singh 4-17-4

The only thing at stake for Mumbai was moving their position in the table, while Delhi were looking to get Sehwag into form. One of those worked eventually, with Sehwag coming in at No 3 and spanking it around. There was however late drama mostly provided by the over-aggressive batting style of the Delhi batsmen, but a good win for Delhi going into their semis tomorrow.

Ashraful got a game – too bad he couldn’t do what he can. This 4 overseas players rule is stretching things too much. An ulterior motive of the IPL is to promote Indian cricket, but most teams have an extra baggage Indian player who you just know will never improve or make it into the Indian team. It’s just a matter of maybe a year before 4 overseas players becomes 5 with good reason.

Recall: Delhi won quite comfortably – Mumbai vs Delhi 1st Leg
