    Great innings. Pollard promises so much but so rarely delivers it is great to see him take the game by the scruff of the neck. Odd decision by Katich to bowl Moises again but then he didn’t have anyone left to turn to, I guess.

    keiran pollard is a beast! I’ll be surprised is he isnt bought by an IPL team this year :)

    some notable stats in this game:
    Pollard’s strike rate –> 300.0
    MC Henriques’s figs –> 3.3-0-49-1 (14.00 rpo)

    and the saddest part was that after Katich had to persist with Henriques even after he gave away 27 runs in the previous over! (only other options were Hauritz, himself, or Smith)

    another observation: I saw signs of Brian Lara in the Darren Bravo, especially the shot over the deep mid-wicket for six!

    Yeah, he looks like he’s idolized Lara even more than Sehwag did Sachin – Admin

    Darren Bravo is Brian Lara’s cousin, so he has the right genes to become a star. He has the Bravo/Lara genes in his veins so don’t be surprised if he is making headlines 2 years from now (he is only 20).
