Maybe there’s something about Neil Broom domestically, but he’s been for all practical purposes one of the big beneficiaries of the injury phenomenon that has plagued NZ over the last year. For Pakistan however, two of their best (Nazir, Tanvir) made a super return while Fawad Alam seems a Ravindra Jadeja kind of befuddling choice.
Over the last year, Ross Taylor has been central to NZ’s chances in most games, but with him having a rare dip, it appears that all now rests with McCullum unless the glorious uncertainty that is Martin Guptill opts to differ.
Apart from the T20 Champions playing like that and the Aamer-for-captain/opener banners, also noteworthy was the straight face maintained by the NZ physio as she walked a groin-induced waddling Redmond out of the ground.

Well….Well done to pakistan to start with, but I don’t really want to get carried away with this. Pakistan, remember are the T20 champions, a format of the game where u expect them to deliver the goods. I’d like to see more consistency in their game when they play tougher formats of the game i-e ODI’s and test matches. It’s a pity we have so many indifferences within the team.

Nice match. I didn’t understand why Ramiz Raja was interviewing with Pakistani guys in Urdu this time. May be most of the Dubai residents know Urdu well; therefore, he preferred this.

I have tried both IE and Firefox to view the highlights but I cannot see anything other then white screen. there are no controls or buttons of any kind visible on the player. I downloaded newer version of flash player but still no use. I don’t have any pop up blocker as well.

Pop-up blocker doesn’t matter because there are no popups here – the player should be displayed anyhow. White screens suggests that the flash player has not been installed properly. Have a look in Firefox under Tools>AddOns and make sure Shockwave Flash hasn’t been disabled. If so enable it. Can’t think of any other cause for this – Admin
