More like the lower order of either side vs each other. Just when the game in the 2nd session appeared to be petering out into a boring loss for Pakistan, the concerted efforts of a panic-attack ridden Lankan side and Gul-Aamer pulled out a win-situation.
Murali bowled well, but his cameo earlier basically was the difference and with Mathews and Thushara, the Lankan total zipped from 176 to 232 in the last 5 overs. Must-watch stuff for those who think Murali or Harbhajan batting can be as entertaining as watching Sehwag in flow.

Malik can only score big in flat and dead pitches in Pakistan. He was clueless in the 1st ODI. I don’t think he can survive as opener. He doesn’t even bowl anymore; hence, should not be consider an allrounder. Pakistan has only 2 allrounders, Afrdi and Razzaq.

Misbha is in terrible form, he should be droped and sent back home.
Younis, as Captain, has to make some tough decisions. He needs to replace Misbah with the young gun “Umar Akmal” for the second ODI.
Is Yousuf out of Form? Mohammad Yousuf is an excellent batsman but worst fielder. someone else should be fielding for him.

What a match!
Pakistan still playing in t20 style, target was so low, they did not try to built a partnership. Mohammad Yusuf needs to take responsibility. I think Misbah needs to go up in the order, he has not getting enough time to perform. Shoaib Malik or Younis Khan can afford to take rest in next two games and let Imran Nazir, Rana Naved have a go.
I agree with kash,Shoaib malik out and Rana Naved Hasan should come in and Imran Nazir for Fawad Alam,how can they not play Imran Nazir who is up there with Chris Gayle,Virender Sehwag,Brendon Mcullum a MIGHTY big hitter!!!
Srilankan’s performance is just an artificial, they are not play like natural.. Pakistanis play Naturally.. Pakistan was best, Pakistan is Best & Pakistan will Best.
