Watch cricket highlights – South Africa vs Australia – 1st T20 game from Johannesburg played on March 27, 2009.

Scoreline: Australia 166/7 – David Hussey 88 (44), David Warner 38 (29). SA: 168/6 – Albie Morkel 37 (19), Mark Boucher 36 (22)

Mid-Innings: With the Aussies unrelenting in their strokeplay Australia came apart early on especially during a Peterson over that witnessed the fall of 3 wickets. Hussey however lofted, cut and scooped his team to a decent total that’s at least bowlable for.

End of play: Two players on either side took their team out of dead-and-buried situations – David Hussey’s 88 was longer, while Albie Morkel’s was a cameo – Morkel’s knock eventually was on the winning side probably because he was able to find support in Mark Boucher and a super win for SA after Aus looked to have won it after the initial onslaught by Gibbs.

Teams: SA: Herschelle Gibbs, Hashim Amla, AB de Villiers, JP Duminy, van Jaarsveld, Mark Boucher, Albie Morkel, Johan Botha, Peterson, Parnell, Dale Steyn
Aus: David Warner, Brad Haddin, Ricky Ponting, Cameron White, Mike Hussey, David Hussey, Michael Clarke, James Hopes, Harwood, Mitchell Johnson, Brett Geeves

great game – congrats SA! Albie Morkel and Boucher really turned it around from what was looking like an Oz win at the time.

How well did David Hussey play? Wickets and runs. Peterson’s fantastic C&B of Warner really had a big impact on the game – Warner was looking dangerous and 2 more wickets that over, put Oz firmly on the back foot.

Pretty girl at 8:55 in Oz Innings too! :)

    thanks Admin
