Watch cricket highlights: South Africa vs England, the 2nd ODI played at SuperSport Park, Centurion on November 22, 2009.

Scoreline: South Africa 250/9 Alviro Petersen 64 (65), Amla 57 (72) | Anderson 3
England win comfortably in 46 overs Paul Collingwood 105 (110), Jonathan Trott 87 (119)

When Trott scored his hundred on debut during the Ashes, it seemed almost obligatory to applaud him cursorily, in the hope that you could safely ignore him in future. But every time he’s played international cricket since, it’s pretty hard to do that, especially when you’re making highlights. I mean, for years I opted to ignore Collingwood most of the time he batted, but when you’re forced to watch Collingwood bat (for example, while making highlights) you slowly learn to appreciate the value he adds to a team that has for a while now been the object of ridicule in limited over cricket (doesn’t hold good anymore ever since KP returned and Morgan entered the middle/lower order – must do a video on him one of these days).

You know Paul Collingwood can play some extraordinary shots (possibly the best current exponent of the slog-sweep). You’ve seen him work it for England again and again and yet something about him wants you to dismiss him from a viewing point of view. But you just can’t. Never can. And Trott is like that. Another Collingwood in the making.

KP went to a fullish ball yet again – he’s too fine a player to let the murmurs in this regard (growing over the last year) to develop into a full-fledged theory. The other Petersen (without the i) probably came in for the injured Kallis and looked quite cool particularly driving through the onside. Faintly reminds you of someone.

hey…for a guy like u…i know its not tough to make a video for wickets as well…..please accept my request and check the response…video only of wickets…may b both innings wickets together…

Currently, it won’t be possible, for the following reason: the possibilities then became endless, like a fours package or a sixers package and so on. Most of the games for me end at wee hours of the night and this would push it further than is possible for me. Understand the thought behind the request, but sorry, can’t do so right now – Admin

    great vids!
you can easily make alot of dolla bills from this site

I would if there weren’t highlights sites springing up by the dozen using the same clips. But then, I suppose the owners of the original unmodified footage would be grumbling the same about me – Admin

It is a good job you have such a fine sense of humour, admin!

As far as the cricket is concerned, good start for England – what a catch from Collingwood!

Can you please tell me Where can i watch Ten Sports Online? Even if i have to pay for it. Please tell me and i will be so greatful to you!

    God Bless you
    Thanks alot

Some of the official broadcasters do provide live streaming for free on their sites, but I suspect it’s region-based. So it would really depend on where you’re located. You could try accessing their official site. As for unofficial live links, no idea, as I stay away from that aspect. – Admin

If I could marry a website, it would be this one. I have a ring and even practiced my speech!!

Well played England, great result. 5 ODI wins on the ‘Trott’ against SA (hehe)

Be warned though – you could well be getting into a terminally ill relationship – Admin

  11. Aamir says:

Ok thank you admin. I wen to the official website but i cannot find any links to live matches.

What about you? How do you watch the cricket online because you record the highlights from Ten Sports.
Please tell me i beg you

Hey man, I record the game through television, not online, and then make my own highlights. Looks like your region is not supported by the Ten Sports site for live streaming. Unfortunately I can’t help you, because I subscribe to the channel through cable and not online. Sorry – Admin

Trott looks at home – oh yeah, he is at home (lol)

great result for England. That is a decent batting line up with Rashid at 9!! SA look short of a bowler or two, as do England, but I think the three lions will out bat the proteas in this series.

    and admin, many many thanks.

  13. SantaV says:

Admin, thanks again, I also appreciate you defaulting the player to ‘HQ’, – you put a lot of thought into this site!

Well done both teams, I thought SL were going to roller-coaster India.

  19. wagaman says:

If you ask me Trott looked good from the beginning when he first played in the Ashes tour. A classical old school batsman with plenty of cool. I think he will be a thorn in the side of many opposing sides in the years to come.
