Barring a really special performance in the final ODI (if played), sadly it looks like this might be the last time we see Gibbs – one of the finest and most entertaining of his era. Even the IPL looks shaky with the Chargers dropping him occasionally last season.
The SA toporder should have expected AB to possibly strut his stuff in a game like this, but in any case, to expect one team to pull off a 400 run plus chase more than once is probably a bit too much.
For India, welcome return of Dhoni the hitter (not thoroughly convinced it’s something he can pull out at will as suggested postmatch), the utilization of Yusuf up the order and Dinesh Karthik trying to make the best of vacancies for a change. What a spectacular fete. I always thought that it was humanly simply impossible to achieve a double century in ODI cricket. The reasons I assumed were the great quality bowling, sharp fielding, human bodily physical restrictions and pressure of the task itself. But here stands our Master-Blaster, India’s answer to world cricket. Undoubtedly a Champion and a true maestro of the game!!!

Nice Batting Sachin.
It was sensational from Sachin Tendulkar. It’s really an honor for himself and for India that he’s the first to get 200 runs in an inning in ODI’S. He was at his very best through out the inning. He make no errors with the shots he played all the way through. I’ve got to say really great fitness at an age of 36 batting through 50 overs. It’s just remarkable. Hats off for the “Little Master”. It was great to watch the cricket match live and it was paid off. He’s truely a master of Cricket. I would love to see him bat through 50 overs again as he said during the presentation that he would also like to bat for 50 overs again and check his fitness. I hope he keeps going for India in the same manner.

I would thank Hashim Amla for stopping that dhoni stroke at the boundary which gave SRT strike. ________________? even South Africa players must be abusing him while he was not giving strike to SRT, i bet.
dhoni hai hai, and if you have the guts dhoni, you try for rest of your life and try to achieve even half of what SRT has achieved.
you should be arrested for what you did and spanked on your bums with the same wickets you kept SRT away from.
