Watch cricket highlights: Sri Lanka vs Pakistan 1st Test, Day 3 from Galle.
Scoreline: Sri Lanka 217 all out (2nd Inn) Paranavitana 49, Samaraweera 34 | Aamer 3 wickets
Pakistan in pursuit of 168 to win: 71/2
Paranavitana looked at complete ease for a good part of the morning session. Though he comes across as a pretty good opener, there were a couple of factors to it – Umar Gul was having a patchy no-ball sort of day while Aamer’s initial spell was a little too outside-off. This also meant that the Rob Key of Sri Lanka, Rangana Herath could essay his role as nightwatchman well into daylight with well-left ease.
Aamer’s 2nd spell however was possibly the best he’s ever bowled in international cricket picking up Paranavitana, Mahela and Sangakkara and SL’s lower order were left to repeat their first innings contributions to leave Pakistan with 2 days and more to get 168. SL however are yet not out of this test completely. There have been some poor umpiring decisions this test alongside a few good ones – One won’t be surprised if the umpiring ends up controversially deciding the fate of 1 of the teams tomorrow.
excellent work.

A great website. While working in office , we can see what happened yesterday in cricket field.
very poor umpiring. I’m not saying that umpires are favoring a team. It’s been poor for both sides.
a very Gud website
umpiring has been sh*t in every test series since the ashes that england won from dubious umpiring decisions. why do we even need 2 umpires on the field? they could save themselves the money of paying for a useless second umpire who serves no purpose at square leg by using cameras instead.
Awesome effort youve put into the site mate…well done!
maybe if u cud encode it at around 500k….then itd be a pretty much buffer free playback for all of us in our lovely Pakistan.
Thanks
