285/1 to 320 all out. 6 LBWs of which only the Misbah one looked a really poor one. As Younus pointed out post-match, a technical inability to come to terms with the deviation of the ball, whether it was Kulasekara or Herath.
When you first take a look at Kulasekara, you don’t particularly rate him. He just doesn’t seem to have that look about him. And yet, consistently he’s troubled batsmen all around with a disciplined line and length and the ability to seam the ball, sometimes prodigiously.
Younus Khan was fantastic as usual post-match and has a new phrase – It was dodgy

I think Pakistan team has again fixed the match. How can an international team with such a strong batting line up lose 9 wickets for only 35 runs. I am almost certain it was fixed.
I mean there was nothing in the pitch. A young debutant scores 168 and the rest cannot get even into double figures?? If this does not smell like match fixing…..what does?

The Srilankans have a great ability to comeback & fight in a game.Their bowlers are capable of bowling with good line and length and using seam and swing .I am very impressed by them especially their bowlers.

Just like to say to Yahmeen, why is it when pakistan win – its the best team in the world and when they loose its always a case of the match being fixed. Had Pakistan done that to sri lanka and taken 9 for 35 you would not be saying oh sri lanka were fixed, would you? and if it was fixed then pakistan dont deserve to win and maybe that why last year no one wanted to play them. typical pakistan fan !!
There is only one weakness and that is afridi bowling & batting which gives much confidence to team..

well,i have read u all but honestly i will leave some thing for u goys as well,simply pakistan is not in the ideal shape at all for test matches because yousaf has been failed to make the big figures,he is any only can change the match and rest of them r nor reliable but will say,with the same squad pk will be having a great edge on srilanka with afridi and razzaq presence.

pakistani team sucks…it was by luck that pakistan won the T20 championship….Sri Lanka deserved to win it….and this test series win proves that lanka is way way better than Pakistan

All of you should know one thing. Sri Lanka was a better team in this series which is why they won. There was no sign of match fixing. The Pakistan team was struggling the whole time because their batting was poor. And yes I think pakistan won by luck in T20. Because in this series they didn’t look like T20 champions. And Srilanka will win this ODI series to prove that they are the better team. Pakistani team doesn’t have enough money to fix a match.

you post to Yameen Khan really shows that you don’t know difference between Test cricket, T20 and ODI. unfortently, Pakistan team has poor batting line up due to politics in PCB. Salmaan butt and Shoaib Malik doesn’t deserve to be in test cricket or ODI.
I would like to see Fawad Alam, Asim Kamal, Umar Akmal in test cricket. Our ODI team should include Sheharyar Ghani, Umar Akmal and Fawad Alam.
I think it would have been a different outcome if we had Asif and Shaoib Akhtar in the team.
This match & pakistanis player are fixed in this match they hv taken 10,00,000$ to loose this match from a good position,otherwise its not possible that at one tym u were 280-1 & last 7 wickets gone for just 17 runs,is this a joke?
First of all you people need to know that any sports including cricket is an unpredictable game, There really isnt no such thing as best team, because every team has their ups and downs just like Pakistan had their ups in T20 Srilanka had their in the Test match, and after all people its Called SPORTS its just for an entertainment purposes, so stop assuming and pressuming shit lol
Just a little example 2007 T20 Pakistan lost from India by 6 runs and Srilankan team was not in the finals, The same Indian team this year was not even close to the Finals and Pakistan and Srilanka made it to the finals and Pakistan won the T20. Get it ??? Ups and Downs

I am sorry man but i do know the difference between all the cricket games and coming towards the pakistani politics; its being going on since god know how long. So you just got a reason to blame the politics for your loss. The fault was in the team. Where as shoaib and salman have been really good in many test matches in the past. So just admit that the game was lost because of poor strategies not because u think that some players were missing.

You have to admit that Indians hate Pakistani regardless what sport we play….even if we play gilly dunda. ….so you would support any country Pakistan playing against.
Anyway, I do agree that Pakistan lost in Test cricket (world of difference between test cricket and T20) due to poor strategies and team selection. Selecting cricketer who certainly don’t deserve to be in test cricket. for test cricket Pakistan need complete batsman who has 3 Ts, talent, technique and temperament, Hand eye coordination, someone who has a ability to play equally well both off the front foot and the back foot, on the off side and the on. (good example is Inzi, Dravid and Sachin).
Due to politics in PCB has ignored Asim Kamal and selected Malik & Misbah who have failed as batsmen in Test cricket are selected….Middle order batsman are used as and Opener (Fawad Alam in test match and Yasir Hameed in ODI).
