Watch cricket highlights: Sri Lanka vs Pakistan 4th ODI played on August 7, 2009.

Scoreline: Pakistan 321/5 Umar Akmal 102 (72), Younis Khan 89, Kamran Akmal 57, Extras 33 (29 wides)
Sri Lanka fall way short 175 all out: Upul Tharanga 80 | Rao Iftikhar 5 wickets

Umar Akmal had strode into international cricket in the 3rd ODI and today he stomped all over it. Brilliant late hitting after a clever execution of Younis Khan’s favourite word (partnership) with the captain – at one stage no boundary had been hit for around 22 overs before the final launch.

Rao Iftikhar has had an in-and-out limited over career, but has always been deceptively destructive when he’s on – in many ways he’s quite similar to Praveen Kumar of India, in bowling style and match-winning ability.

The series is gone but a dominant performance by Pakistan against SL who just couldn’t find a way to cap the final overs

    You just rock.
I like your highlights because you cover all the exciting moments on and off the field. However today you did miss Younis Khan’s speech (Its all about partnerships)

Didn’t have access to it as I had to rely on the repeat. Wouldn’t miss it for anything – Admin

  16. Even though I’m not a huge fan of your sound effects, I must say your match descriptions are hilarious at times. “Post match Younis” and “…his favorite word (partnership)” made me laugh out loud.

Imran Nazir an immense morale booster for the Pakistan Side and soon he will start playing his natural game and wack the bowlers around
i would like to see Imran Nazir/Shahid Afridi combo in the opening pair, i’m sure it’ll give the Pakistani’s a huge start and dominate the game away from the opponent
