So the second straight big win for Pakistan despite the series loss. Aamer continues to be brilliant with his awkward line and bounce – hope he’s backed well and not allowed to drift away like Sami and Asif. Rana Naved was given the Man of the Match (instead of Aamer) cos of his work with the bat in addition to his 4 wickets, but I suspect it’s more for his efforts at the hair-transplant clinic. Post Match Younis in his usual straight-forward manner unleashed another gem today – we struggled in the morning games maybe cos we weren’t awake.
The tour is not yet through. There’s an exciting T20 game coming up on Aug 12 (Wed).

late but not bad welldone by Pakistan power due to Rana Imran nazir and Muhammad Yousaf Misbah good combination even Razzaq wasnt playing even Umar Gul.
New comers Omar Akmal and Muhammad Ammar and Saeed Ajmal doing some brilliant jobs.
Nice matured captaincy by Younas Khan. it wasnt good series for Shahid Afridi but it was good to for other players and Share the burden on their should without Razzaq and Shahid.
Pakistani team got good combination and good come after bad situation in Pakistan whole year without any cricket.

Great Win and a good consolation, finally we have found an opening pair in Immi & Kami so they should give these 2 some good couple of years and groom them into Aamir/Saeed mould

Imran Nazir was excellent unlucky to have played mendis the way he did, i really was kind a thinking he would be getting a 100+ score from now on in almost allhis innings going from his form and the competition in the team for the opening slot

Sri Lanka:Thilan Thushara,Angelo Mathews,Mahela Jayawardene (as always),Pakistan:Mohammed Amer,Umar Akmal,and MAINLY we have got a solid opening partership for odi Kamran Akmal and Imran Nazir 1 of the best in the world 4 me level With Virender Sehwag and Sach Tendulkar. my cousin just told me about a younis interview he heard back in pakistan. someone asked him why he quit T20s since he’s only 30 years old, younis replied by saying something along the lines of, “Well my parents lied on the birth certificate, my real age is 35.” lol. he’s almost too honest.
and lol at the kamran akmal LBW decision. i think this has to be the first time a batsman was given LBW when the ball didnt even touch his pads.

You are right mate that Younis has the most unconventional comments. Seems he is unadulterated by the coaching given to modern players for facing media. His simple, lighthearted and casual remarks are often blown out of propportion(Remember T20 WC) But sometimes he is real funny.
