Rain ends play after 1 over in WI innings
they obandoned the match cuase they knew west indies were gonna kill them
Yeah, rameez, you’re so right. That’s why “they” called it off, ’cause the Aussies need all the help they can get. We all know it had nothing at all to do with the rain, don’t we?
Actually, the way Gayle, the Windies’ best bat, was hopping around on that obvious bowler’s wicket, I’d say WI would’ve been bowled out for under 100. Maybe 120. (Especially if those cheating umpires would be sure to give every LBW and appeal for caught behind to Oz along the way.)
So, actually, a good outcome for WI, who avoided going down 0-3.
woo,this is so unfair
u r right windigo…y those cheating empires dont give out every time the aussies appeals for lbw or caught behind…i mean they do it for other teams dont they?
Hey rameez,
they could have kept playing in pissing rain but then the ball would never haved reached they boundry- and the heavy ball would have knocked their blocks off.
common ppl… we all know AUSTRALIA cheats and buys umpires its proven in videos !!! and we have seen it many times so please stop talking about cheating you d**k head…..
you never know whats the outcome of the match b/c its pure luck!
ADMIN WHICH TEAM CAN DEFEAT AUS IN THEIR CURRENT FORM THANKS
No idea man, since i haven’ yet played against them yet. Just kidding. But they are looking unbeatable at home aren’t they. And Ryan Harris’ hitting in the final over was so reminiscent of the great Australian era that was on until a few years back, right? Things definitely not looking good for other teams especially in the ODI format – Admin
Rain came down to save Australia,
match ended in West Indies favor!
Moral victory, undoubtedly!
very unfair .. i was waiting so long 2 see this match . but wat can u do …
Why do West Indians seem to think everyone else cheats except themselves? A collection of islands where boboll, graft, corruption and thievery is a fact of life give it up and just enjoy. Thank god I am 40 years removed from that morass
aussies are lucky bast**ds
@PAKIS-RULES . . . I guess I am the d**khead you are referring to. I definitely feel your pain and frustration after Pak lost nine matches in a row to Aus. So of course you hate Aus. This I understand.
Respectfully, however, I cannot fully concur regarding your allegations of cheating, though I can easily see how palatable and attractive this notion is to certain folks. I must differ with you, humbly, because I think it would require many people and a massive concerted effort to perpetrate and maintain such a conspiracy, especially over an extended period. We are talking umpires, event sponsors, coaches, team doctors and physiotherapists, the players themselves, and their wives, of course. If only one person involved here were to blow the whistle and go public it would be the biggest scandal in cricket since the events of the bodyline series of 1932-33. It would be all over the media, the conspirators would be disgraced, the umpires and players would be banned for life, and the whistle-blower would be a hero in the eyes of the whole world. I think something like this would happen, if cheating were going on. But I could be wrong, I admit.
It seems to me, though I am a simple man, that many people would be risking an awful lot in order to cheat for Aus. It seems also that at least one of the cheaters would have conscience enough to speak out after all these years.
And if, at a later time, someone does, I shall apologise profusely and buy you a beer. I have been wrong before, and many times, too.
Also, having watched cricket for decades, I have at last come to the conclusion that the outcome of a match is not necessarily the result of “pure luck,” as you so posit. Sometimes, though it is only my opinion, it seems that skill and effort are involved.
But again, I could be wrong.
Better “luck” next time to Pak, inshallah.
Having blathered on, I realise it is all pointless, for you will still believe Aus cheats. This is your right and privilege.
Oh well.
australia would have won this match very easily .who is westindies without gayle
Hello admin, why do you think India lost the last test against SA in Nagpur? What do you think will happen in Kolkata? That loss really hurt especially since we’ve been so used to winning our test matches for some time now and i don’t think we even lost one for a couple of years now.
mmmm yum yum
@Ravi: I doubt I’m really qualified to give any opinions other than biased personal opinion. Which is that Steyn is a great bowler supported by good bowlers while the Indian bowling attack has dropped away from the standards that had allowed it to have good overseas success in test cricket over the last couple of years. Am still holding onto hope that Ishanth will eventually recover soon
